At First Naz Church, we believe that not only is giving a spiritual act of worship but is a condition of the heart. Jesus laid it out for us in a pretty straight-forward way: “Where your treasure is, there your heart is also.” (Luke 12:34) Generosity, sacrifice, commitment are more than just financial issues, they are spiritual as well. Because of this, we believe that giving should be done consistently and as a priority in our lives. God will bless a giving people.

God challenges us in the area of financial stewardship. In Malachi 3:10, God says: “Bring your full tithe to the temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my temple. Test me in this and see if I don’t open Heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams.” God is reminding us that we cannot possibly out-give Him and is His personal invitation to an outpouring of His blessing in our life. If we say we trust Him, then we should trust him with all aspects of our life, including our finances.

What is a tithe and how is it different from an offering? The word, “tithe” literally means tenth or 10%. A tithe is the first 10% of your income. An offering is anything we give above and beyond the 10%. The Bible says that the purpose of tithing is to teach us always to put God first in our lives. (Deuteronomy 14:23 TLB) Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything we have.

Technology has given us new ways of giving. We are pleased to offer automated giving through (Name of Provider). (Provider) is a secure and easy way to give by authorizing your bank to deduct a specified amount from your checking or savings account. In addition to tithe (General Fund), you can also designate gifts to Faith Promise, Sunday School, Special Needs, etc. First Naz Church will receive 100% of your giving and there is no fee to sign up. All donations are tax deductible.
