
The purpose of Prime Time Ministries is the salvation, sanctification, spiritual growth, and continued service of maturing adults. The purpose and objectives of Prime Time Ministries are described by the following levels of ministry:
Level 1: Maintenance
This level of ministry is primarily concerned with ministry to mature adults. This category is characterized by the practical areas of life that help us live with a degree of comfort and security. Examples include:
The church can work cooperatively with local or national agencies to provide the information and resources needed by mature adults.
Level 2: Enrichment
This level of ministry is provides excellent outreach opportunities and is characterized by activities directed to the mature adult that will enrich and encourage growth spiritually, socially, mentally, or emotionally. Examples include:
Level 3: Service and Ministry
This level of ministry encourages mature adults to stay involved in active service to the Kingdom, even after they may have reached retirement age. While we do recognize retirement from our chosen vocations at some point in our lives, retirement from ministry is never an option. This category is primarily ministry through and with mature adults.
Prime Timers need and desire continued involvement and the church needs them. Ministry changes may need to be refocused and redirected, but ministry will continue at any age. Examples of ministry include:
Level 4: Discipling
This last level of ministry encompasses those ministry opportunities where Prime Timers are involved in helping win, disciple, train and encourage other mature adults to be growing and service-oriented Christians. It is also and excellent ministry offered through mature adults to younger generations.
