Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? No worries! We tried to think of some things you may want to know as a parent!

  • What do you do at FirstNaz Youth?

Glad you asked! We have a lot of fun at our youth experiences on Wednesday and Sunday. We play games, give out prizes, participate in engaging worship lead by our student band, join in conversation with small groups, and hear an impactful message every week!

  • Where do we meet?

Great question! We typically start in the Family Life Center (gym) and then move on to the Youth Room for our worship experience. Both locations are extremely close together and do not require going off campus.

  • Where do I drop my student off?

You can drop your student off by the Family Life Center. If you do not know where that is, if you pull in the parking lot off of Coshocton Ave, go straight. You’ll see signs that say “Welcome To Youth.” That’s how you know you’re in the right spot!

  • How do I pick my student up?

Just pull back around to the same location you dropped them off! If you would prefer to come inside and get them you’re more than welcome. We

We also offer midweek groups for adults. If you want to get plugged in, this is a great time to experience community while your student does in the same building!

  • What is the age range of FirstNaz Youth?

    7th grade - 12th grade.

  • Does FirstNaz Youth end for the summer?

We do not do normal programming at the church over the Summer, but we do what we like to call “pop-up” events. These are events that can be both free, or if there is a cost; affordable. It is best to sign up for our news letter to stay up-to-date with these events. You can also check our social media pages and Remind for updates!

  • How do I stay up to date?

    Do The Following:

    - Sign up for our news letter

    - Sign up for our weekly email list

    - Follow on Facebook and Instagram

    - Join our Remind 101 chat

Both parents and students can do all of these for the best communication results. If you would like to sign up, click here.

  • As a parent, am I allowed to come in and check it out?

Absolutely! We’d love for you to come in and see what happens during FirstNaz Youth. It is important to note that if you do not have a student or are not a leader you will not be permitted to be in youth area. The safety of your student is our priority as a church.

  • How do I know my student is safe?

We understand this is probably the most important question you could ask. All of our volunteers and leaders have gone through a background check and extensive training through MinistrySafe.

We also have trained safety team members watching over our students while they are on campus.

  • How do I get involved?

There are several ways to get involved! If you’re an adult and would like to volunteer feel free to email either Jadon Bird or Jamie Parry. They can be found on the staff & leaders page. If you would like to disciple a student fill out the One For One Discipleship form

If you’re a student you have the opportunity to join the Student Leadership Team. This will give you opportunities to help Pastor Jadon plan things like games, message series, Bridge Nights, and so much more. Being part of the SLT also gives you hands on experience serving in areas you are interested in like worship, tech, greeting, and running games!
